No degree
We don't ask for one. We ask to see how you think.
Keep your job
Two evenings a week. The rest of it is yours.
What this actually is
A portfolio school. You come in with a head full of half ideas and you leave with a book of work you can put in front of a creative director.
It's for the aspiring creatives, the career changers, the self-taught, and the people this industry doesn't usually find. Getting in has always been hard, and the usual routes cost a lot. This is another way in.
It isn't a degree. There are no essays, no module codes, and nobody will make you write a reflective log.
Every 45 minutes you get a new brief. Chewing gum, a holiday somewhere, a charity. You have the idea, people who make ads for a living pull it apart, and then the next brief lands. Do that for 12 weeks and you get quick.
think faster. make better work.
A master's vs us
The big uni courses are good, some of them very good. They also cost a year of your life and a lot of money.

The 12 weeks, roughly
Unlearn
Insight, headlines and scamps, at speed. Concept first, polish later. Most of the early stuff will be bad, and that's fine.
Make
Posters, radio, film scripts, social. Agency evenings where industry people set live briefs and crit what you make.
Book
Charities, movements, work that goes past the poster. Then you build the book and show it off.
The creative test
This is how you get in. Ten odd questions. You pick five and answer them however you like. Write it, draw it, photograph it, stick it together with Pritt.
We're not marking spelling. We're looking for the answer nobody else thought of.

Rename rain
Glasgow has plenty of it. It could at least have a better name.
The wall
This is where student work goes. The first intake hasn't finished yet, so for now it's a wall and a bit of tape.
Your poster could be here. Currently it's just this bit of tape.
